| I'm not sure how Dremeling it would help. The problem with the the T-Rex XL grips is that they come off the tail feathering shaft asix at about a 45 degree angle. The X-400 balls line-up parallel to the feathering shaft axis. As the tail pitch-slider to grip ball-links are fixed on the X-400 (unlike the T-Rex where they are attached with screws and can thus be adjusted) they don't mate at an agreeable angle.
I'm pretty sure the T-Rex XL pitch slider would work on the X-400. I've got the MFIS tail case (marketed to work with both the T-Rex and X-400) and the stock slider, lever, etc work great with it. Presumably teh same could be said for the XL slider.
That said, I'm really, really hoping that MFIS releases a tail pitch slider and level assembly to go with their drop-dead gorgeous tail case! |
