| Yes, I've had both and Fly bothWhich Ergo?
I had the Ergo 46 std mix.
I have a JR Venture w/os 32.
But, I owned them together and flew them together.
In a nutshell, the Ergo 46 had more speed / power-to-Climb but was less maneuverable.
The Venture is more maneuverable, but doesn't have the power of the 46. I never flew an Ergo 30, but I suspect the Venture is substantially better than it is because it was so heavy for a 30 size.
As for hovering and slow flight I put them equal, both were/are rock steady.
Durability, Equal, don't let anyone (in my opinion) tell you the Venture is not as durable because of the plastic frame, it just isn't true. I have had a few dorks with the Venture that I think would have crack the aluminum frame on my Ergo, that did zero frame damage to the Venture.
Which do I prefer? Well, put it this way I sold the Ergo. The Ergo was a great ship don't take me wrong. It just wasn't what I wanted in a 50 size heli.
If you have specific questions about these two heli's ask away. But keep in mind I never owned or flew an Ergo-3d ( CCPM ). I suspect it might have been very comparable to my JR Voyager 50.
Hope this helps. |
