| I did experiment with the muscle pipe some time ago, before stretching the tail boom and changing to a 10t pinion. It had tons of power, but was difficult to keep from overspeeding. I am now using a 60 size pipe. Using the 9t pinion (stock) the motor had to turn up pretty high to get the desired headspeed. As a result it was easy to get into overspeeding. I recently went to the 10t pinion. I have plenty of power without the overspeeding problem. If you look at the spec.s for the OS50 you will note where the torque band peaks for the RPM. With the stock ratio (9.78) you are on the high side of the band and have none left to use. The 8.8 ratio places you closer to the bottom of the band. The Sceadu also uses the 8.8 ratio. Hope this helps.
