| I found the tail authority on my X400 much poorer than what I was getting on my TRex so I mounted the tail shaft w/ gear, tail pitch slider, and tail rotor assembly from the Trex onto the X400 and what a difference. I also found that the Microheli upgrade slider fit very well on the X400 with those Trex parts - I never could get it to work well with the X400 tail. The Ark stock slider will not work well with the TRex tail rotor either and vice versa, you have to change all the parts I mentioned but it's worth it IMO.
BTW, you will need to reverse your tail on the Transmitter as the mechanical action of the tail pitch is opposite on the two helis. |
