It seems a little clumsy to start a new topic when I am using "start here" It requires me to go to "home" then choose the topic. It would be nice if a "new" topic line was on every screen which would then open the "topics", Comments:

hi doug,

what I can't understanding is the differences between "start here" and "main discussion" on another note why some times when I see 1,280 active posts on any given morning, and then less then few moments later it's gone down to a dozen or so.. how they do that ?

If I understand it right , active covers all new topics combined . if so , then what does "start here" cover thats not being covered by active posts, or the individual highlighted topics. I really don't know what "start here" purpose is?? please enlighten me , a question for mark I guess

“START HERE” shows the last weeks activity. “VIEW NEW POSTS” shows only what is new. When using either one I recommend clicking the “Check For New” link which will turn off the yellow “NEW” lights and return you to the home page.

I do not understand were I would add a “Create New Topic” link. Would this be an entirely new screen with all forums shown (like the home page) but with the added “Create New Topic” link next to each forum?

I guess it would show all the topics like "Home" It just seems a little clumsy the way it is. Sometimes I "think" of a new topic while I am reading and as it is now I go to "home" then to the "Topic" then I get the "new topic". What if there was a "new" topic on every screen which opened the Editor and a "drop down" list to topics which you would "click" to activate the editor?
