Hi,
All you need is the 46 mt and also the fan for the ergo. You will also need the clutch for the ergo. You can still use the 550 blades. I have a OS 46 in mine and it needs that power.

I used the Ergo 46 conversion kit it all bolts right in and order a Ergo 46 motor mount I used the stock fan
I have a OS 50 and it flies great

Hi,
What does the conversion kit cosist of? All I needed was the mt, 46 fan and an ergo clucth. Plus engine and muffer.

The conver. kit consits of a longer tail boom, belt, blades,,new pullies for the belt and longer tail boom support all you really need is the longer tail boom and you can use a rapptor 30 belt and use your stock belt pullies with the longer tail boom then just order up the ergo 46 motor mount and you will be set
The conver.kit cost me $109 and the motor mount cost $18.00 from Horizon I never flew the venture as a 30 size bird so I can't tell you if its better or not but I can tell you that it is better then a rapptor 50

stock clutch?

RCMAN,
You said you used the stock fan. Did you use the stock clutch too? If you wanted to use the 30 size boom and blades, can you put an OS50 in the Venture just by using the 46 motor mount and leave everything else the same? My friend's Venture 30 flies very good, but the 32 can't pull as much pitch as I would like to see. I think it would be a great bird just by increasing the power and leaving everything else stock.

Yes you can use the stock fan and stock clutch that is what I have been using for the last two months and have had no problems
I have a friend that I put any OS 46 in his Venture with just the Ergo 46 motor mount and he has been flying it for some time now
So yes go for it put a OS 50 in it and go fly all you will need is the Ergo 46 motor mount
Let us know how you like it in the 30 size bird

Hi,
I feel like you Rick, leave everything stock and drop in the 50 or 46. It is a heavy bird and can use the extra power. That way all you need is the 46 fan and mount, and an egro clutch. Or did you also use the stock fan?

No, you don't need to buy a new fan you can use the stock fan
I swear it will work I know I an using it

YES, YES, YES

You can buy the Ergo 46 motor mount Horizon Part# JRP960039 for $18.95 and that is all you need to buy, You will have to put the fan in a vise on a Drill Press and drill out the hole like you have to do with the Raptor to put it on the larger crank shaft on the OS 46 or 50 and use the OS spacer that comes with the motor and put it on the crank shaft and then put on the fan, bolt it down, then bolt on the stock clutch, but that is all you need to do the rest is all stock and no other mods. needed I swear
