are you saying your version of Quicktime doesn't support the codec, or Quicktime doesn't work on your platform?
if it is the former try this link:

i used an earlier version of the Sorenson codec on this one...
if the later, try the current version of quicktime at apple.com/quicktime if you have a mac/windows platform...
if your pro penguin (Linux), I believe MPlayer or LAMP can play .mov
