How do you get rid of the annoying rattle of the tail wire guides in the Hawk 111?
It is right in the middle and stops when I lightly pinch the tail boom with my fingers.
Anyone else with the problem? I have two Hawk 3's both doing the same thing.

Do you mean a rattle from the tail drive wire assembly or the tail wire pushrod?

Rattle

Its inside the tailboom approximately center. Sounds like the drive wire guide.
When I put the guides in I only was able to put a dab of silicone on the front one and the rear one to keep them from sliding out of place, so I think its a rattling guide in the middle.
Everything works ok but it sure is an annoying unnecessary noise, which does cause minimal vibration I suppose.
I think I will have to get at the center guide and glue it in so it can't rattle.

The instructions say to drip some CA down the tail boom to fix the guides. I dripped too much and didn't see it dripping out the other end onto the garage floor but that's one way to fix all the guides.

Yes you must run CA down the inside of the tube.This will secure the tube guides.Also be sure the wire has been greased.
