| My 2 cents.....To post anything about autogyros out here is about worthless. There is about a handfull of guys that fly these things out here or at least a few that respond to posts. The best thing to do is go to www.autogyro.com and read some info. Also www.rcgroups.com has a pretty active autogyro forum.
And I'm just brand new to this too. I would say this........I would think it would matter what kind of autogyro this guy built. My C.4 ask for about 5 degrees of left tilt in the head, plus 5 degrees of left in the rudder. ALSO they talk about avoiding ROG and do a hand toss. The hang angle has to be right too. Some are 8 degrees down, some are all the way to twelve. Bottom line, have to know what kind of autogyro it is.
GOOD LUCK!

P.S. The best blades to buy would be on aerobalsa.com. And on the pitch, start with -2 and go from there. The more negative pitch, the less lift. The aerobalsa blades almost automatically give you a ton of negative pitch on the underside, but keeps postive lift on the topside. |
