Interesting.

They make the fuse but no mechanics for it.

Now why would they go to the trouble of making the fuse but no mechs? I'd be willing to bet they have both gasser and mechs for the new Jetcat free turbine just like they do the Skycrane.. It's just premature yet.. Maybe Joe Howard has some info to post..

Vario has abandoned this project, but had some fuses made in anticipation of doing it. You can get the fuses and decal set only. I have a couple on the way over, for the do-it-yourself builder.
I will have pricing in a couple of days. If you are interested, let me know and i can increase the amount coming over. They only have a limited quantity.

I am only familiar with the Benzin. Are all Vario helis eCCPM?

I would think doing 4 servo CCPM on a twin rotor heli would be a pain to mix.

I don't know about all, but I have seen a kit for the Sky Fox line that changes from eCCPM to standard mixing.

For the mixing, Just get the controlling computer from hirobo.
I have been toying with the idea of doin my own chinook for gas mechs.
and that is what i was goin to do.

2 rotors are better than one

Hi

I have a Heim computer multiaxis gyro and foreaft cyclic pitch gyro special unit made just for the twin rotor set up. It is a spare from a second twin star twin rotor kit, with gel coat fuselage, prebuilt formers, resin coated, fuel proof, and it is light, white, and flys great.
Will sell second kit of fuse complete formers, and multiaxis Heim gyro special for 700 dollars. You can drop in any regular 30 or 50 or 60 size mechanics, even old concept will work (any) one in front, one in rear, and link on tail rotor output, and go flying. Will post pics soon. This was 4000 dollars new.
Multi gyro only 375 dollars.

twin rotor

By the way, the complete twin rotor kit, with graupner heim mechanics, is 2000, half that of the hirobo.
