| Wow, wow, wow, don't you love that new heli rush. Nothing like breaking in a new heli.
Just put my Falcon 50 in the air for the first time. I am one of those break the engine in while in the heli kind of guys, so it was not super FFF or 3D. But it sure was smooth and trouble free. Just hovering it with the engine supper rich, then down for a minute to cool, then up to hover again. I am impressed.
(Coulden't wait for the Rap t/r setup Payton, had to put it in the air)
It flies great. The gyro on the front plate does have clearance under the canopy. Pic's in my gallery if you want to see where I put it.
Very stable, no suprises, good sounding engine (the os 50 fired right up the first time). Idle mix is as rich as I could get it, main needle 2 1/2 turns open.
I like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will take my time breaking the engine in, so it will be a few gallons before I even get serious with it upstairs, but so far it looks good. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a 50 size heli. |
