HIROBO Freya - Sceadu - Shuttle > Weight compare of some Hirobo parts!

Hi everybody!
I was working today with some Hirobo parts when I decided to finally find out for myself which parts are lighter and which are heavier!
For some guys it is a very serious point, so I decided to put all details here.
Note that all parts are for Freya

Tail boom:
Aluminum ----- 111.400g
Carbon ---------- 61. 650g

Yoke:
Aluminum (without a stopping button) -----82.150g.
Plastic -----------------------------------------------60.700g.

Skids mount with all mounting stuff (without aluminum skids):
Aluminum: -------126.950g.
Plastic: ------------ 99.500g.

Auto-rotation case with two bearings, one way bearing and mounting bolts:
Aluminum ------91.500g.
Plastic -----------57g.

Once again all these parts are for Freya.
So no everyone could calculate how many grams does he lose or get.

Have a light flying,

Garry.

That's 132.15 grams difference total ( 4.66 ounces )
That shows that every ounce counts when it comes to making a heli light.
Thanks Garry.

The question of the weight was a bit obvious for me and I didn't pay the necessary attention to this point until have I imagined the following:

Let's say you have some 100g. object. Now throw this object forward with some force, and now imagine how strong should be the force which will stop this object and will send it with some speed to the opposite direction.
I believe you all understand that the force should be very reasonable.
And it is pretty much easy to understand that even a 100g. on your heli could be very sensitive, when you do +- 10 degrees in a 1sec!!!

So, now, I really understand that if you want to have a max performance than you definitely should count all these grams!
