After flying my Vigor with long flybar and red paddles with weights all the way in and comparing it to my Raptor 60 [has carbon fiber paddles with rounded fronts and I cant remember the name of them], my Vigor seems to slow on inputs. I dont run any expo on either machine and I am only in forward flight and nose in with lots of pirro's. Question is should I just take off weights on the red paddles which are already all the way in or should I install short flybar with grey paddles and run weights about half way out? The servos on my Vigor are all Futaba 9252 and my Raptor has 9252 collective and 9202 on the rest. Thanks

Which FlybarDitch the red paddles. On my CS, I like the 500mm fly bar, a set of V-Paddles, and flybar weights about 3" in from the inside edge of the paddles. I also like the white MA 3-D paddles a lot.

Thanks. The flybars I have are 600 mm for the red paddles and 450 mm for the grey paddles. But I do have a sprare bar for the Raptor maybe that is 500mm,I will check . In the meantime I will try the grey paddles until I order some new ones.

450mm FlybarKeep in mind that there has been an issue with 450mm flybars breaking in mid-flight. I saw it happen once and have heard of it several other times. Although I ran the 450 without incident for quite a while, I think most people are now running 500mm+ flybar lengths. I switched mine out just for peace of mind.
