e-Hirobo SRB Quark - Lepton - XRB Coaxial > FLybar weight change out?

Hi, was reading the section on flybar weight change out from the factory heavy to the lighter weights. First question, is it worth doing as far as increased heli response? Second, I'm a little confused by the instructions. The very first step looks as if somthing is being removed from inside the rubber weights on both pieces, but what? I don't see anything to remove.

The best I was able to accomplish was to move both the rubber weights to the inside and then when I rotated the pieces 90degs to the next slot and tried to pull them off they still would not budge. I feel like I'm asking a stupid question but I have looked over and read the instructions seveal times and can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong.

I'm ready to add some more response and thougth I'd try this along with the laminated blades.
Appreciate any advice. Thanks

You slide the rubber weight covers to the inside, and then you can properly slide the weights down, the turn them to slide them back off. The lighter paddles go on the same way, altough there a bit stiff to get on. I hold the fly bar with pliers so i dont bend it putting the weights on. Dont forget to snap the link on the fly bar to the more aggressive ball. The change in performance is noticeable, but not all that dramatic. There is a mod on improving forward flight by re-drilling the cyclic link which is posted here. Take a look, cause this is one of the better mods along with heat sinks on the motors

Thanks for the info, I got them changed out fine. Like you say, some difference but nothing major, only 2 grams lighter. I thought it would be closer to 10 or 15.
