Let me guess.... The radio ? How is it going... She ready for test flight yet. Come on ,hurry it up over there. We have some flying to do. Looking to go out here in the next hour or so before the snow starts :P .

Johnny

Well, have to take a rain check now :P . Did my first nose dive into mother earth. Current condition .... stable... but on life support!

Canopy - shot, along with mounts...
Servo tray cracked/split - fixed with glue
Lost z-bend rod - should be able to fix with retro kit
Aluminum landing gear - slight bend but no damage
Servo - mount a little damaged but usable ( atleast till I test )
Baldes - hehe, GONE !! - but have replacement

I haven't noticed anything else, but I guess when I spool up to test, I will see if anything else was bent or damaged. All in all, I am pretty impressed. I was flying and did a flat spin, then lost orientation in the background. Was just able to correct enough to make a perfect nose dive landing :P . Should be very little cost... Strong bird !!!

You needed to reverse the throttle channel right ?...........

Yes I had to reverse it but that wasnt all I also had to switch the PCM PPM over AND........when i did that i inadvertently reversed it again.

Then after setting that all right I was moving some things around and went back to testing and nothing worked again. So i did some more looking around and realized that the Tx was off.
After then repeatedly slamming my head on the table I got it all worked out.

So now all its working .
Just got to reprogram the Rx and mess with it some more before the first actual flying.

Does anybody know where i can read up on setting throttle curves and all that ( this is my fist CP heli)

Depending on how powerful your motor is, a good normal mode curve might be something like 0,25,50,80,80 and an idle up curve should be something like 80,75,70,75,80 or even straight across like all 80's or 100's. You wouldn't use a traditional v-curve like in a nitro heli. Hope this helps.
