e-Align T-REX 250-450-500-600 > T-Rex balance ?

I finished my T-Rex with the following equipment:
-model 450X
-align motor w/heat sink
-castle creations 25 esc (mounted on the side toward the front)
-401 (mounted on the frame where the tail boom slides in)
-HS 50 on the boom
-Kokam 1500 Lipoly (mounted under the frame with the front of the battery overlapping the front landing skid bow)

Here is my problem. When holding the heli by the flybar it hangs level, maybe a little tail heavy and when I lift off I always have to hold forward stick.

The swash looks level to the frame.

Where is everyone mounting their packs?
And how much EXP is being used. My bird is smooth but overly responsive.

Thanks,
Mike

I balance my helis by holding it by the rotor head and while the heli is on its side (main shaft parallel to the floor). If the tail falls down it's tail heavy if the nose falls down, nose heavy.

I use 60% dual rates. And my TP 2100 pack is mounted in the front.

Should the T-rex be balanced in the center or slightly nose heavy?

I think all helis shoud be balanced a little nose down (heavy).

I have mine balanced slightly forward, if I balance it level mine too seems to drift back a little at takeoff and in a hover.

I also balance mine by the flybar, this may be why we have the dirfting problem?

I am moving the battery forward between the front skids and I'll report back on the reaction. Also I have been reading about adding a wheel collar on the flybar at each paddle to make the heli more stable. I'll see this afternoon how that turns out.

I don't know about T-rex, but when I balance my Helis always front should be heavy than rear, when you left flybar, front landing gear is touching table and rear of landing gear should be about 1/4 inch space between table and gear, first you need make sure your seeting up table or board is fully Leveled
