Yeah it makes more sense to have it as 1 piece...I'm wonderinf if those screws need to be lock-tited in there. They have similar screws in the tail gearcase which I have for my hornet II. I haven't used loctite on them but they haven' ttried to back themselves out yet.

I may be asking for a lot but I wonder if its lighter than stock as most of their other products. This would look great on my scaler compared to teh stock plastic. All I really need for weight savings is to hope the x500 frame is a direct replacement for the 450x. I really dont' want to have to convert it to ccpm because I like the way it is set up now. I tcould use an antirotation pin to remove some slop though.

MicroHeli sure does nice work- I especially like the multiple holes in the seesaw allowing multiple mixing ratios between the main blades and paddles. I bet you could get +/-14 degrees out of that! Wh00t! Set up your T-Rex for HV and +14 collective and the guys doing the drag races will be in for a 'little' suprise....

When is that set up available? I like the way it's fastened together so no more fiddle farting with aligning the arms. Sweet!

From what I understand, the stock flybar carrier is going to one piece and the stripping issue will be resolved at that time. Guess they will make a metal one as well.

It looks like now the entire head assembly can be put together with all aftermarket parts. Amazing.

Ooohhh baby baby. Now that's a nice setup--from the washout base all the way up. Only thing left is the head and grips....can't wait.

If MicroHeli is charging $65 for the washout base, my guess is this will be about $85+
