Pig Fertiliser Gazette News Flash!

Electric BO 105 Saves Hedgehog in Dramatic Emergency Airlift Operation.

A huge 1/15th scale operation was launched this weekend to rescue a hedgehog who got stuck up a tree in a freak canoeing accident!
The Swiss registered Luftrettung helicopter was diverted from a local model expo to make a just in the nick of time rescue before his battery ran out. The helicopter pilot Ian748 put the success of the rescue down to, "heroic daredevil flying" and "Li-Po and Velcro technology." In an emotional post rescue interview he said, "we had been flying for about 35mins when we got the call that little Spiney was stuck in the tree." "I said to myself this is gonna be close, little Spiney is at least 5mins away
and then we've gotta get back to the pad, it was tight but we pulled it off!"
Spineys mum Mrs Tiggywinkle said, "I don't know how to thank Ian748 he's a Balley Hero, and I'm told he only just made it back, with 9.8v left he was running on empty!"
So how did Spiney feel about his ordeal? Well he said, "I'm giving up canoeing because I really hate heights!"

Up up and away, a happy ending, but a stark warning to all woodland creatures!

Bell Bloke,

Looks like you have been to close to the work piece when airbrushing, you've sprayed you lower facial region.

Looking at your gallery I notice you have got yours and Ian748's heli's in the Smart............how did Ian748 get to the flying site?

Ah ha you would be talking about the MCC Smart helicopter transport vehicle, it may only be 7ft from nose to tail but with its 600cc turbocharged 3 pot engine, rear wheel drive and a top speed limited to 100 mph it is the prefered transport of chopper pilots in these parts. It's very roomy too, it takes all of the kit batteries, chargers, 3 helicopters, spare parts and 2 people.......... One is driving, the other is on roller blades hanging off the tail gate!

Being a Mclaren Mercedes team supporter, I have to ask what the BMW Williams F1 decal is doing on the door of that Merc Smart car?
Since the Lama made it to the flying field, did it fly?

Well Boyd you know it's funny you should say that, but my old MCC Smart did have Mclaren decals on it because it was silver that car covered 127,000 miles before it hit a tree (I hit an oil spill, Police were already there). So impressed with this tough little chap, I went and got another one. However it was blue so I thought it was time to change teams. Also I do some work for Williams F1 and I was getting some fairly strange looks turning up at the factory in a Mclaren livery!
The cases actually contain cat food, the preferred choice of Hedgehogs! Can't believe you are still up Skeeter Pilot.

the horizontal tail fin ias confusing me, it hangs under the boom instead of going thru it as it should do. Why?
