| I've been working on a JR Voyager E with brushless motor and 3S4P battery. It's my first electric and I finally got a chance to fly it this weekend. Amazing!- smooth, powerful and 20 minute flights. I'm going to take the plunge and go completely electric. I'm posting this here because my other machine is a scratch-built that evolved from a 99SE, and I would like some input from people who have Ions or Fury-E conversions.
1) The batteries will be 2 5S4Ps. Can someone advise of the best type and place to buy?
2) I am trying to decide between an Actro 32-4 geared at 9:1 or an Actro 32-3 geared at 9.5:1. I run Gamma 700 main blades, and 105mm tails, and my flying can best be described as sport or sloppy 3D. I'm curious as to what the trade-off is between power and flight time for these 2 motors on 10S4P batteries. Any experience or thoughts would be helpful.
