Which esc are you running on your 4s Neumotor ?
My CC 25 lasted 5 minutes before total melt down, and I mean total, the wires and chips came unsoldered from the board. I called CC and they are sending me a new one (GREAT SERVICE).

The 25 wouldn't work for me and others on 3 cells. That 6-18 cell Kontronic Jazz is suppose to be the cat's arse. It's got a good switching bec. I got one coming for that 4 cell set up. Tower just got em back in stock. $150-$25 coupon.

Are the issues with the CC25 because of the 4S or because of something funky with the Neumotor? I can testify that Chucks CC25 was a result of ThermoNuclear meltdown.. Funny thing was the motor and the Battery were not really hot like it was a Amp issue, more like an internal short in the CC25.. Melted EVERYTHING on the circuit board , including the motor wires.. UNsoldiered it all but did NOT melt one spot of insulation on any wires... Odd site I must say.....

I had a Jazz on back order from TH and it was shipped last Thursday. I assumed they would have more in stock to ship. I just called Tower and was told that they only receive a small quantity from the supplier. She said that there are 5 people on back order now and that the new delivery date is indeed late Feb. You better put one on BO if you want one for the $125 price. There's a $25 off coupon code on their site. You'll have to add something to the order for a buck or less to get the total to the required $150 to use the coupon.

The problem I had is that a SBEC is required with the CC25 on HV setups and they are very dirty RF interference sources. Because of this and the good experience that Corrado (Heliup.com) has had I prefer the Jazz.

I got 500ma out the pack on the first run with the same thing. All the chips slid down, but nothing else was hot. I remember it felling pretty warm just running it stationary in the house for a short burst. It was the 25 with a Medusa external BEC. Running 325 carbons and in idle up. Ran it pretty hard for the first few minute of the first flight but it needs to hold up no matter how hard I fly it.

When mine melted down I was running the 1.11 software. When I got the new one I put 1.021 software in it and all is working fine now. Some other people are also having trouble with the 1.11 software I think.

I am really not that impressed with the Neu on 4s. I'm only getting 6 minutes of fun per charge, the batteries (TP1320's) are very hot and the power doesn't seem so great like it was made out to be.
