What makes the plastic gears on the 8411SA better than the alloy ones? Is there any advantage to the alloy gears?

The alloy gears are stronger but they will show wear before the delrin gears. The Delrin also offers a more precise drive train. I have 8411's and 8411SA's, I'm totally impressed with the performance of either model.
