Hey I'd like to get the Berg reciever for my trex but i heard that is not compatible with futaba synth modules. Is that all futaba synth modules? I just bought a Futaba 9CHF, will the Berg work? Also how do I change the frequency on the synth module? Thanks guys.

Did you buy the synth module for the 9CHF? If not it will come with a single channel module and it will work fine. The 9Z with a synth module does not work.

oh and another question, for you guys mounting the gyro ontop of the tailboom holder, did you glue some kind of plastic sheet there because the gyro doesnt look like its gonna stick to that uneven area.

yea but i tried that and the surface is not level so theres not enough surface area for it to stick.

is everyone putting it straight on like that? anyone gluing a flat piece of plastic ontop of the frame area before putting the servo tape? I wouldnt want the gyro to get loose during flight. That would def yield a crash.

I found that the gyro tape did not stick well to the frame's uneven surface so I screwed a piece of styrene plastic to the frame above the boom to mount the GY240 to with gyro tape.

that probably is a good way to go, I wonder sometimes if some of my minor tail problems could be related to the gyro moving around alittle with just that one piece of double sided tape...? might consider giving something like that a try, although I hate to add any more weight than is neccessary :-(
