This matter has been turned over to the local police department.I am a good guy, I don't know why Mark Ryder would say we're sharring the same IP address when the names he mentioned are in different parts of Canada. The police here said Mark just picked 6 names that were online at the time from Canada what a nice guy. According to my internet provider It's impossible to share the same IP address unless all six people are using the same computer and the police said the same thing also.I don't know much about computers I wish I did, Mark can see anyones IP address who's logged onto his site.I would just like to know why Mark mentioned my name?

I talked to Grant on the phone earlier this morning about this issue. I have spent a few days dealing with this issue and I have so much info collected it would make your head spin.

I gave grant my number and am willing to turn over all the info to police if requested. I have the lads phone number and such, his mother and father's names, place of employment for father, website, affiliate companies, emails, and have talked with his brother countless times.

I have emails and saved conversations from msn messenger discussions, talked to local shops and have given this kid a couple things to work on. I told Mark Ryder what we had worked out.

Shortly the lad will post on this forum with his name as his username (to avoid this crap) and he has to go to all forums (yes I did find this stuff happening on a few forums, being a forum junkie, people sent me a lot of info with links and posts and pm's etc) and write a full detail of all he has done and why, that he never had anything to sell and we are going to police his activity with great scrutiny.
if he steps out of line again, I will post up all the info I have available on all these forums so everyone can contact his father and the places of employment and their affiliates. this would cause such a great amount of grief to his parents, it would probably be grounds for disowning him and he knows this. I will say his conduct since on our local forums has improved tremendously. I have also explained that he will be banned from all local race tracks and flying fields if this happens again, basically ending his hobby. I wanted to handle it discreetly to save some grief and it has taken up a lot of my time, and can say that I have laid it out with less diplomacy than I have here in public.

it was just a game to him, I can't say I agree or fully understand why he did it, but I can assure you I will be doing what I can on my end to teach him. he really wants to fly helis, this is true. I have agreed, if he keeps his nose clean, to teach him and help with his other cars and trucks. his brother is so different too.

sorry for the long post. just wanted to update you all. John (the young lad) kows once he lays out his full disclosure, will take a lot of flak. he has been afraid to come back and do it and has spent a lot of time re writing his apology. I think there is still hope. he is young and knows he was acting stupid, but I really don't believe there was any theft involved at this time. he just has posters diahrea.

Excellent.

The way you handled this is way better than all the other ideas that popped up here involving roadtrips and various blunt objects.

I'm sure that if he explains why he did it, and get a fresh start with a somewhat better attitude, he'll be able to enjoy the benefit of being member of this great hobby in no time.

Looks like this story is coming to a somewhat happy ending.
