I used a Robbe Mosquito boom and an NHP carbon tube drive for mine, it is OK for 55cm blades but a bit tight if you want to run 600.

Hi FinnDave:

can you tell me the part no. of Robbe Mosquito boom & NHP carbon tube drive? can i still use the original kyosho tail gear box if i switch to mosquito boom? is there any hole at the end of the tail boom to fix the tail gear box? if i cannot find the NHP carbon tube drive, can i use the mosquito tube drive as well? Thanks for your help.

best regards

Alex

Sorry, don't know the part number, but the NHP tube drive has ends to match the standard Kyosho tail box. The Robbe boom needs the slots and holes to be made before you can use it, but it doesn't take long! I have since found that Vario make a 20mm boom in all sorts of lengths, but the wall is thicker, and therefore heavier.

Cheers,
FD

Using a falcon boom and a homemade drive wire or the Century carbon torque tube will allow up to 580 blades
