Stoked!!! My Rex should be here early next week! Just curious if you guys think my Himax 2025-4200 and CC25 will be a decent enough combo. At least to start out with?
Also, how did ya'll find the kit and insturctions? Were the assembly instructions lacking at all? I'm use to this, just like to know what to expect. Yeeehawwww!!

What I've been reading-preparing as much for the trex as possible,that motor combo may be ok for sport flying but the himax motors are crap -I'd rather and alot of people too ,have an eflite park motor.
I think I'm gonna try a align 400s motor -sport flying /crashing
Prob run either tanic 3s 1550 or tp/tanic 2100/2150's what ever can handle/give me alot of hover time!

The Himax 2025-4200 isnt enough for this machine (great on the Zoom though). It will hover the Rex just fine and do mild forward flight. If you want something better, start with the Align motor and move your way up to the Mega 16/15/3.

* E-flite is essentially the same motor as the Himax!
