Depending on if u hover at Half or 3/4 I hover at half!
Normal -2,0,6,8,10 idle up -10, 0, 10
throttle depends on what ur settings are on the phoenix! Fixed , high gov. etc...

The relationship is to try and get the proper amount of power (throtle) and the perfect amount of coleective pitch together to perform a function, like a Hover, or a flip. Head speed is involved here , it will determine for the most part how effective your cyclyc imputs will be. So the idea is to match the throttle curve's with the pitch curve, so at full pitch, you will have full power, unless a govener is involved, which will attemp to hold the head speed useing the throtle for whatever collective you input. it is the setup to concentrate on to get correct for a good flying model. Clear as mud?

Shun has a good set of numbers there to achieve, some pilots prefer all curves being the same in normal and the idle ups (or stunt 1,2 for JR folk) This setup looks like -10,0,+10 linear on the collective in all flight modes, With that, you will hover at 3/4 stick, advantage is being able to change head speed with out the heli jumping vertically when switching from normal to idle-up. I believe this is how most 3d junkies set their machines up.

I'm not sure jumpiung vertically is the correct term. If you have hover at half stick in normal and 3/4 for idle up then switching from normal to idle up normally results in the heli loosing height rapidly. You basically are going from 4 degrees of pitch or so to zero as you flip the switch.
