e-Hirobo SRB Quark - Lepton - XRB Coaxial > Help! Lama XRB problem of rotating

My Wireless Lama has encountered the following problem:

The lama after lifting up, the tail will automatically rotate to right. No matter how I adjust the rudder, it still rotate automatically. It seems there is some problem about the gyro.

Has anybody encountered this problem? And how can I fix it?

Thanks
Martin

I have the Lama SR with the brass gear and I have noticed that mine also rotates nose left (tail right). The red LED is on most of the time. I have made adjustments to the upper blade pitch but it still wants to rotate nose left. Blades are tracking fine, radio trims are centered...

When I first got the Lama, she flew just perfect. Hands off hovering was no problem. This is no longer the case.

Any suggestions?

Thanks and Happy holidays!

Here is another way that your gyro doesn't seem to work right. Sometimes if you have a few hard landings the bottom blade holder slides down the main shaft a bit so that it hits the plastic slider part. It binds on there and it won't let the blades move right and the pitch doesn't move to counter act the gyro inputs. Just slide the blade holder up the main shaft up to where there are grooves. Then put a bit of CA to hold it in place.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

Hmmm..I looked at my lower blade holder. It does not appear to be binding anywhere and I don't see a groove. I'm guessing that it's in the right place. Holding the heli, the blades move in all directions with the various stick inputs.

BTW, Thanks for the quick reply!

How old is your helicopter? If you use i a lot the motor might be getting worn out? Have you tried adjusting the ball link that changes the pitch in the lower blade?

Well...I think I figured out the problem...it's so simple that I feel stupid. A fresh battery pack and the pitch adjustment did the trick!

Thanks for your replies !

yes i noticed that as the battery runs down i have to start adjusting tail

its a good tell when the battery is weak but it will still run for5-6 minutes that way and keep flying

thanks jeff
