Guys, i know there must be a thread for this already, but I can't find it. I would like hear comments regarding which is best from those who have had both a Zoom and a Trex before I buy one or the other. i am just starting to try the odd 3D and I want this machine for practice and crash resistance will also be a factor.

thanks

Trex, it's far more crash resistant than a Zoom.

hi
i would think the inexpensive replacement parts of the t-rex would play a big factor in your decision too

Trex parts are way less expensive.

No upgrades needed.
More fun to build.
Parts are alot cheaper.
More durable heli also.
Very easy to fly, with the proper transmitter settings.

I have both a Zoom and a T-Rex. I just built my T-Rex last night,
and all I can say is Wow!
It took me about 4 hours to assemble the T-Rex. The engineering that
went into the kit is fantastic. It has most all of the tools needed to
assemble it. I did not really have to do any head scratching.
I have not flown it yet, but if it only flew as good as my Zoom I would
be very satisfied. I understand they fly better than the Zooms.
Assembly of my Zoom was frustrating. It was not well engineered
compared to the T-Rex.
I actually enjoyed assembling the Rex, and it comes with spare parts just in case you lose something. Hands down without a doubt, I would
go with the T-Rex.

Just my .02

T-Rex hands down here Zoom/shoguns are total junk unless you drop 400 dollars in aftermarket parts and then the t-rex is still better

GRAVITY SUCKS!

ozzie 111,
Let me know what you think once you have flown it but I think I have almost made my decision to buy the TRex.
Cheers Guys
