What is the difference in flying characteristics of a blade like this:

and a blade like this:
?
One has a rounded tip and the other is more square.

The blades in the pictures are SABs. I was also wondering how much advantage their carbon blades have over their carbon reinforced glass blades?

The only difference I know of is that the curved style is supposed to produce better autos than more straight cut edges. I honestly don't think it makes that much difference in autos, not as much as weight does. I had some CMT's which wereslightly lighter than some SAB's I have now, the CMT's had curved tips but still didn't auto as good as the heavier SAB's which you have a picture of above.
