Hello Caliber owners

Just wanted to know what is your headspeed on your caliber 60 for hover, loops and rolls ?

For myself, I use a GV-1 on OS61WC and I set it up like 1400rpm on Normal(hover), used to be 1500rpm (now 1600rpm) on idle1(supposed to be loops and rolls) but I noticed the blade did slow down during top of the loop, one time it slow down so bad taht it stalled and fell off from the top of the loop.

ANy thoughts ?

Are you sure the GV1 is on when you do the loops and rolls?

Suggest you to turn off the GV and set up the pitch adn throttle curves for idle ups because when the GV fails, the system defaults to the curves and if it is not set up properly, the machine may not perform as expected.

I do not use GV in my C60 as it is for F3C flying. My GV setting for my Eagles was 1750 for idle up 1(Loops, stall turn, etc) and 1900 for 2(rolls, inside loops). The gear ratio was 9.3:1. I shut off all GV even I changed the engines to 91 and 80.
