Any body try the new MINAIR open tail gear box on there ION??

I seen one on a FURY EXTREME and man was it smooth!!!!!!!!!

Just put one on mine and love it. I could not believe it but it runs even smother, and appears to even give it a little bit more tail control. Kicked up the gain a bit more with the lack of gear noise.

Also keep in mind that you have to lengthen you pushrod. The Tail Gear Box sits about 10-15mm more towards the rear of the heli.

I t seems it would be a great upgrade for the ION-X iam going to order one..
the smoothness should increase effeiciny a tad bit you would think

Have the open tail box on both my IONs, flew them for the first time today with this upgrade. Can't say that they flew any better with the new tail box (I think they flight great as they are), but I do like the idea of being able to see the gears before each flight.
