| Jeff,
Don't think I don't want KE Software to come out with a KA product, I do. If it's good I'll buy it I promise. Go US baby. The photos look like they are going in a different direction to what AFPD and XTR are doing. It doesn't look like the graphics are photo realistic and maybe this is a good thing. Maybe the models will be better out of the box.
Before I spend more money on another sim, I want some of the things that I've been asking for, things like:
1. Realistic gyro settings like Tru Flite has. I want to emulate or have enough control over the gyro so that I can duplicate what I'm seeing at the field. TF will make the tail seem really close to what I've got at the field if I want. I don't want the tail to feel like I'm playing a game.
2. The ability to set up auto practice in a menu where I set the spot in the sky where the machine starts with the head already spooled up and either upright or inverted.
3. The ability to define a heli pad to my specs and put the spot where I want it to add in practice.
4. I want to be able to export the model settings to a spreadsheet, change them and then import them back to the sim instead of having to bury myself in menus and pull downs to get the model adjusted to what I like.
5. If I'm going to be using a TX that is supplied with the sim then I need control over the mixing, pitch and throttle curves and all the pertinent things that I have in an upper end computer radio. IOW, I don't want to have to use my TX if the software will do it too.
6. When I hit throttle hold I want to hear the rotor spinning like I'm at the field.
7. No artificial barriers like XTR.
8. I want the planes to rival AFPD. Nothing less will do.
9. When I'm in fullscreen mode I need popups to tell me what is going on, like pitch, rotor rpm and gyro status, dual rate status etc..
10. I want a governor mode that will be disabled when I hit TH and I want multiple gov settings either via switches or KB.
11. If I have to put the CD in the drive to use the sim, forget it. Put the dongle in the TX or in the USB connector. I can't be bothered with having to hassle with a key disk and I simply won't buy software the forces me to have to mess with a CD.
Got any of these?
