| 3D_PooThe machines are very similar! They are built by Hyundai for JR, Robbe and now a US distributor, Audacity models is carring them.
There are slight differences in the side frames between all 3 machines, also the Robbe Ornith comes with a bushing setup in the blade grip and the Tiger 50 comes with Thrust Bearings, The Ornith has a 9 tooth pinion, the Tiger comes with a 10 tooth, they run an 89 tooth main.
I haven't had the oportunity to to fly the JR version, but have flown the Ornith and Tiger 50 and they are both very stable machines and I would highly recommend the Tiger 50 for the beginner or expierenced flyer that wants to practive some new tricks but, not on his 2k machine.
Parts are plentiful from Audacity and John ships them out very quickly. I just ordered a Tiger 50 kit and will be documenting the build with photo's like AGRAV8 did with the Predator Gasser, in fact James got to play with Steven's bird when he was here for the Mulberry FF. |
