Doesn't look photoshopped to me. You can see the ground and skids reflected in the paint. High mounted engine and main gear just like Avant.

Why don't we all just back off a bit let Jason and Todd finish up the kit and introduce it to all of us.

Dr Scoles posted a link to the same canopy picture. It comes from the Arizona Heli site. I don't think they'd have a photo-shopped canopy on their site. I think it's real.

Plastic Engine Mount

Not sure if anyone noticed but... the engine mount appears to be plastic. There are ejector pin marks on it from molding

Yes I noticed but plastic would be fine. Other heli's have used them with good results. Should help to keep the price down.

I think by looking on that photo that engine mount is made from some kind of rubber,

and blades are paper,

The canopy is real, guys. Take a close look at the pic with Jason holding it. The very rear, pointy part of the canopy is cracked vertically -- it happened during shipping to Phoenix.

i'm going to have to say that you're not too observant... JK used the same weights on his extreme. likely the same distance out. probably even the same paddles as well.

looks like a lot on min aircraft parts the head the motor mount the fuel tank
the frames look like there new
i think i have seen the landing gear some place before the canopy
looks alot better than the first one we have seen.

just my two cents and i may be wrong on all counts
