That can't be right! That looks like a Kalt Baron, and we all know that Bin Laden would use something made by Century.

SWEET looking box, looks heavy though....what are the dimensions and weight? Is this something you built or can I run out and buy one somewhere?

Well, thanks for the compliments on the box I made last winter, its just another attempt to carry only what I need in the smallest box possible.
It is not too heavy, much lighter than the other boxes I've had. Dimensions are 14" tall, 16"deep, 8.5" wide. I carry 1gal (can) of fuel and my tx in it. The only thing I would have done different is put the battery and starter compartment on the bottom, the way it is now, its top-heavy so I have to put it in the truck next to something so it doesn't tip over.
I like aluminum boxes, they are easy to clean and there's no paint to peel.
You can build one, go to a sheet metal co, they can cut the panels for you, then just bolt it up. I used aluminum angle for the corners. Takes some time though, I spent about a week on mine. We made one for Maxx, just a little different, his battery is on the bottom and it has a door over the entire front. Maybe I can get him to post a pic if you want it.....
Hope this helps!

Thats one serious box. I think I've just been inspired to throw away my nasty toolbox I've been using for years. Thanks for the idea Ron.

All we need now is a severe radio glitch to throw the heli back into that SOB's face!

I agree, Benny needs some seriouse glitch action happening.

Now that does look to be a seriously sweet box. I bet you could sell some of those for sure. I say fire up the manufacturing shop, and start some mass production. Of course mine is free for suggesting it. But seriously, I would buy one if it didn't cost an arm and a leg. Nice work.

Build it, fly it, crash it. Repeat as often as needed.

You could sell it as a kit and let the buyer put it together.. possibly in different configurations to suit his/her needs.. It would really be helpful if you could find whats called a "brake" for cutting the aluminum yourself.. Usually you find them at Government auctions...or surplus houses...I cant picture the materials costing more than 25 bucks .. sell the box for 50-70 bucks.. and you got yourself an easy and fun way to support your heli addiction... Count me in!!!
