My Other Chopper

This is my other heli. It's an old Shuttle X belt start I bought at a
Swap Meet with a mechanical gyro for $40.00. It took a few
months to upgrade a few of it's parts, get an engine (Thunder-
Tiger 36 Pro) and make some small changes to get it flying.

Nexus Paint???

Nice job linus, now the BIG question?

How did you get ANYTHING to stick to the Nexus canopy????-----------BladeRunner.

Paint Job

I cleaned the canopy with alcohol, then steel wooled it all over and finally used Coverite Cub-Yellow paint. The black is flexible auto bumper paint you can buy at Walmart. This is about the second or third paint sceme I've done on the same Canopy.

I painted my nexus too

I took my nexus and I sanded it down a little with 300 grit paper then I used the paint made for lexan bodies for R/C cars.

nexus 30

I will start by saying that i have had nitro rc cars and trucks for the last 10 years.... i decided that it was time to venture into flight.. i purchased a nexus 30 and i have just started to attempt to fly... i would really appreciate it if any of you could give me some pointers or tips on this heli. Thanks a lot!?!??

njnexus Just put a post in the beginners section and you should get some help and info on your heli. Also try the links topics at the different heli type sections.

Best Advise I can give you is to seek some experianced local help if possible. All heli flyers will (should) be glad to get a new guy up and going.
