I thought i would start this threat about the Gohbee Stinger.

My local hobby store says Gohbee is coming out with a Stinger 50 some time around November. It will be in arf package and priced in the same ball park as the raptor 50 with carbon blades.
I flown the stinger 30 or for better words hovered the heli and have seen it fly. I think it flew every bit as well as my raptor 30, and have plans to get one in the next few weeks.
I think it will be a good add on to the market for helis.
Anyone having one add your input as how you like the Stinger, ect.
heres the link to there site...

He's right, Jim. The ad copy for that thing is creative BS at its best.

TiTastic??? Puh-lease...

Must have been written by a former Horizon ad guy.

I saw some this weekend. They weren't real impressive. It has nothing over the Raptor and a few things to make it worse. I would only consider buying replacement parts for my raptor from them but they would have to lower their prices a bit.

Spitfire_mk5,

My company designed the site and wants to make sure it works as designed, so could you pass along the errors you are seeing and the browser and OS versions you are running? We tested the site under Opera 7.2, Mozilla 1.6, Netscape 4.8, Netscape 7.2, Firefox 0.93, and IE 6, getting acceptable resullts in all of them (though, to be honest, the NS 4.8 is a little flaky with the rotors moving at a furious pace!).

As far as pop-ups are concerned, we use them as part of a design where it make sense. There is a single unrequested pop-up that comes up only once in a browser session. This is to present the music controls and to announce any specials, news, etc. All other pop-ups are on-demand types that show up only when the user specifically requests information. These allow us to do things like present larger views of the Stinger without moving you off the main portion of the site. This cuts down on the need to use the "back" button and to remember where you were last.

The music is the site owner's choice and I kinda like it. We provided controls so that it can be stopped, muted, etc. for those who prefer not to have it running.

I invite you to look at the other sites we have built and decide whether our work in unprofessional. www.CraftedSolutions.com
