I want to buy some 3000 mAH NiMH cells for a Logo 10. The cell of choice seems to be the Panasonic "High Voltage" cells.

As far as I can tell there are:

Panasonic HHR300SCP; blue wrappers.

Panasonic 3000 "Industrial" cells; plain wrappers.

Panasonic Stock Metal Hydride cells; grey wrappers with "Stock Metal Hydride" in blue letters.

Panasonic Stock Metal Hydride High Voltage cells; grey wrapper with Stock Metal Hydride" in blue letters and "High Voltage" in orange letters.

Which is the best one and where is a good place to buy them?

the ones I'm using and I'm very happy with say "stock metal hydride" on them. The regularly take 3300~3400 mah input on a charge. Dozens of cycles and they seem to have stabilized around 3300mah if they are fully discharged before charging.

I agree with Gary the stock metal's seem to have the best performance through the whole flight. The new "heavy metal" Panasonics are >>> Heavier<<< so the extra torque is negated because of the weight (as far as I could tell)...The older light blue NIMH really stink bad for electric helis because they don't allow a high current draw so the power is way less then the other batteries.. Nicads are good but the peak power is in the first minute of the flight so it drops off quite fast. The stock metals seem to keep there voltage through out most of the flight and don't drop off to fast and you get a minute to 1 1/2 minuet longer flight over the Nicads...IMO
