Not sure if this would be appropriet for this UAV group or the Video/Photograhy group. But I have always been interested in just flying my heli with a basic video downlink and minimal/no stabilization in the first person view. (Stabilization would mean like an autopilot.) Anyone here accomplished this and have pictures or videos of their achievment?

Val Petrov has been doing this stuff for years - both fixed wing and now with helicopters.

He flies with and without autopilot assistance and has some outstanding videos of his flights.

I think he has just updated the site, and they are now in a protected area I think.

Drop him an email and see if he can point you in the right direction. There is a video of him flying FPV around a chimney stack which is unbelievable.
