The funfly was disapointing from a weather and attendance standpoint.
100+ temperatures and very high winds. We had 17 pilots down from 33 last year.
Despite the low attandance we were not short on good flying. Without taking away from anyone else I would like to mention Scott Glasgow flying a Vigor CS, Scott Schmidt flying a Raptor 80, and Josh Moen flying a Freya, all put on quite a show despite the heat and high winds. The night flying these three did was outsanding. Mind bending manuevers seem to be the norm for these guys.
Keep an eye on these three and I hope you all get a chance to watch them fly.
