I have a concept 30 DX that I'm Re-learning to fly. The problem I've had for the last week is that the roll cyclic ball link keeps popping off. Usually during flight. I have the blades tracked and there's not much vibration except when the blades are initially spooling up. I've replaced the ball link each time with a new one because it seems to be wearing out after only 2 or 3 flights. The ball itself seems to be smooth with no burrs or anything. Any ideas? I'm reluctant to do much with the heli til I get this problem solved.

Sounds like maybe the ball is worn. I would think the "new" links would be a "little" loose. Or try a different brand link.

Or you are having some binding. Try to turn the blades by hand with the sticks deflected all the way and see if anything is binding.

Replace the swashplate with the upgrade that has metal balls. Replace all of your plastic balls with metal ones. The plastic, or glass filled nylon, is actually abrasive and will wear out links in record time.

kyosho ball links

If you read the assembly directions on the concept and also the nexus, the stock ball links have the word "kyosho" molded onto it.

The "kyosho" should always be facing out, away from the ball.

This meas you can only get 1/2 turn adjustments. I changed all on my old machines to the ones that century makes.

You can replace the plastic balls with metal ones by ordering the following from tower hobbies.
