Maybe?

I bought a set something like that from a guy from Canada that have the Mah logo. They were on ebay, his logon was ebeetle. I believe he told me the blades came from europe. By the way this guy so far has been exceptional to deal with. I've bought 2 sets as they were realtively cheap around $80 per set.

One set is solid white with the carbon window near the root. When mounted the window faces down. Which leads me to believe the baldes were made for main rotors rotating CCW. Just my theory. Normally the carbon window would be facing up.

I've hovered a set on my XCell and they Flew great. The were in excellent balance. I've been concentrating on my Raptor, since I've just got into FF this summer. I'll concentrate on the X-cell's next summer.

Hope this helps!

Suggo

check out HeliHut.com go to their blade section look at the fk6822.
they are white (you can see them) blades, carbon 680's 180g
680x12x5 with spacers to 16mm and a shim for 4mm bolts all for $70
and shipping is $10 no matter how much you buy.

They are on my rap60v2 and they fly fine and auto great.
The rollrate on this machine is slow so i put freya paddles with the brass weight only (its glued in) and it rolls great and is stable in hover.

BBT?

These blades look alot lik ethe Big Boy Toys(BBT) blades made in Europe. I saw in MHW that Min Air is going to be importing them into the USA, So the price will likely be about US$120.

Ok guys I found out from a M.A rep that they will be importing this blaes and should sell for about $129.00 US. M.A will be selling this blades as early as next week! Not sure when I will get the blades to test out but I hope before the snow flies

As far as I know there will be all sizes for 30 up to 60 but not sure about long blades for the big bore guy's so as soon as I know more I will post it here but from what I have herd already they are a great blade and with M.A selling them they must be good.

Well guys I have the skinny on the mah blades! Where do I start, They are the sweetest blade I have every laid eyes on! The craftsmen ship makes ms and V's look like crap. As for air foil they are a straight with no reflex like a nhp.

The carbon looks allot like ms or v's but the gelcoat is crystal clear, inside the blades is aluminum and wood (aluminum leading edge with two hard wood and one balsa strip on the trailing edge) Man these blades are stiff! I took one of my v's off my heli and tested the stiffens of the v's to the MAH's and the mah's seem to be about the same if not more stiff then the v-blades. I have two sets , one set is 685mm long with a 14mm root and 4mm blot hole weighing 180g, they have white gel coat on the roots and tips like in the pics above! The other set are the same but weigh 185g and are all black. The cool thing is they have a black gel coat all the way around the blade with a carbon window the whole length of the blade. I am hoping to tset out both sets of blades this weekend and if they fly as sweet as they look I am sure I will be a happy camper. Here is a pic of the black blade root, Sorry for the poor pic, I still haven't learned how to use my camara.

Aluminum leading edge? Don't take those to an AMA-sanctioned event; you'll be summarily executed...

Sorry I thought it ws clear I was talking about inside the blade! There is a aluminnum strip that runs down the inside leading edge along with wood like v-blades. Sorry for the mix up Steve!

Well guys I had a chance to fly today with the new blades. The weather was very bad though, 50km winds and -5c so it right out sucked today but I was pumped to try out these new blades.

I did some set up then fired her up, the blades tracked prefect on first try. I hovered around for the first 1/4 tank. The blades hovered great, very stable but crisp and handled the 50 wind gusts great. I started FF with some loops and stall turns, the heli tracked nice and straight. I couldn't hold back any longer it was time to try out some 3D!

I started with some slow front flips, wow the cyclics where very fast and the blades sounded just like a light saver off star wars. I did a fast rolling fly buy, normally I could get 5 rolls in before the blades started to stall but they just kept going. I ended up doing about 7 rolls before I lost my forward speed but I kept it rolling for another 7 or 8 rolls then gave up on trying to get the blades to stall. WOW these things feel great! Then it was time for more BB 3D!

I did a tail slide about 200 feet into a upright pull out and the heli shot straight up about 100 feet without a blink of a eye. Backwards loops where huge 300 or 400 feet and never lost any head speed and very little cyclics where needed. The only time I got the blades to fluter or rumble was well doing a ripper and stopped the tail in the wrong spot (scared the hell out of my self) and full pitch and cyclic was added!

Then it was time to calm down so I did a little inverted hovering which showed the blades to be very smooth but crisp like they where upright. I only did the one tank due to the bad weather so I will have to fly them more but so far they seem to be keepers and the V's will be sold. If I have a chance tomorrow to get out I will burn a couple more tanks I still need to do some tweeking on the pitch and throttle curves to get them just right.

MAH Blades - Yahoooooo!

Sluggo,

Just a quick note to say I just love the MAH 680mm carbon blades you sold me. The balance was great, they're stiff as all get-out and my Raptor 60 never flew better!! Thanks for selling a great product!!

I'll be at the West Michigan Fun Fly in Grand Haven, Michigan this weekend. You gonna be there? If so, the first round is on me!!

Regards,
Joe Ubaldo (formally Gasser man)
