Hello, my new JR 8103 radio is losing the pitch curve. It has happened twice now in 3 months...I will set the curve at +8 to -8.....fly for a while....then I will notice it is not climbing out right...when I check the pitch with a guage, the top has changed to +15!!!. Has anyone had this happen....when I go to change the pitch curve in the radio, the horizontal bar in the display wavers back and forth at points 4 and 5. Could I have a pot problem or can anyone make a guess?.....thanks, Bill

???????

If indeed you have cionfirmed that there is NO mechanical problem with the heli at all. I would negate the guessing game, and send it in for a very thourough check up. It would suck to lose a nice ship to a known problem. Not to mention the other problems that "might be present" that have not yet become aparent. I to am running an 8103 and have had no problems with it. But if I did I would let Horrizon figure it out, becouse I am no tech. Has the radio ever been droped before?

Cell phone?

I have never witnessed it myself but if there are no problems with the heli, have you ever put a cell phone within three feet of the TX. I have read in magizines that cell phones can mess with the programming of computer radios.

As far as the helo goes, what potential problems could cause the pitch to change? All connections and links seem good....Bill

I don't have that radio but from what I've seen, the Transmitters setup screens only show how the TX is setup. Not what the Receiver is doing. Remember the TX only sends the RX receives. If your TX screen is not acting normally then send the TX in for repair. Add a good description of the screen page problem (the repair Tech will thank you for it).
Since we choose to beat the air into submission, we expose the electronics of our heli's to lots of abuse. By all means check out the servo too! just swap it with some other one. Any mid grade servo will do for a test.
