| Using A Futaba J Plug With JRYes, you can use a Futaba servo (or Gyro for that matter) with a JR receiver. Since the Futaba J plug has the little lip on it, you will have to cut it off. Once you cut the lip off, it will fit perfectly into the JR receiver and will work perfectly. Just be sure to line up the bevel on the edges of the Futaba plug so they match the bevel in the JR receiver.
It will also work with the New Style of Airtronics receivers. It will also work with the old style Airtronics receiver, but you must reverse the wires... You can tell the New Style receivers, they are blue in color.
