| Dear Radio Control Helicopter Enthusiast,
Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that the Florida Helicopter Association Website is now up and running. This site is dedicated to Mr. Bill W.D. Youmans who passed away on July 6, 2001. Bill was a personal friend of mine and contributed much to the Model Aviation Sport.

I have developed this site for the use of my fellow radio control helicopter pilots in Florida and elsewhere as a means of communicating with each other and also a forum for sharing information as it pertains to the Radio Control Helicopter Aviation Sport.
Please excuse any mistakes I may have made (this is my first experience in making a website) and would appreciate any comments you have to make it better. Keep in mind that this is a FREE Website and it has limitations. I will be adding new features as they become available.
Just a couple of tips:
The site is broken up into three different sections: Directory, Member Services and Links.
Directory:
Applications: You can fill out an application for the Florida Helicopter Association On-Line by clicking on the Applications Link. When you fill out the information requested and click on the submit button the information will be sent to me and I will update the membership listing on a regular basis. This addition will be reflected in the Member Listing link in the Directory.
Classified Ads: You can use this to advertise any item that you may have for sell or trade.
Event Schedule: I will list upcoming Contests, Fun-Fly’s and FHA Events that are scheduled. Each event may have links attached to it that will give you contest recaps and photos. Check out the latest Mulberry Fun-Fly Contest.
Member Listing: You can check out the current membership list by clicking on the member listing icon. Note: The current list is 6 pages long and if you scroll to the bottom of each page you will see icons such as next, previous, last, go to home page etc. You can navigate this listing by clicking on these selections. You can also print each page by right clicking on the page and picking the print option.
Message Forum: This will allow you to discuss various items as they relate to the Radio Control Helicopter Sport.
Old FHA Photos: I have attached a few old photos from the Florida Helicopter Association activities back in the 1970’s. If anyone has any photos they would like to upload in jpeg format myself and others would like to look at them. I will post them on a space available basis.
Contest Photos: Clicking on this icon will move you to the photo directory where you can select photo albums in the left column by clicking on them. After the photos are displayed you can hover your mouse button over them to get more detailed information about the photo. Selecting the view option will give you a larger view of the selected photograph.
Member Services:
Contact FHA: Any visitor to the Website can e-mail me by clicking on this button. You can use this to ask any questions about the application process or other related matters. You can also use this as a way to contact me with any ideas or suggestions about improving the Website.
Send a Greeting Card: A fun thing that will allow you to send an internet greeting card to a friend.
Sign Guestbook: Click on this icon to visit our guestbook and make an entry.
Tell-A-Friend: If you think this site is useful, you can use this tell your friends about it. It will send them a e-mail giving them the Florida Helicopter Association Website URL.
View Guestbook: Click on this icon to view entries to our guestbook.
