| XRB SetupAfter going through 2 sets of blades, I have this little machine almost done. I get some drift and I will adjust the pitch on 1 blade, that should resolve it.
I am having a blast with it. My living room is sort of small and doing a circut and nose in can be tight.
I does appear that the pots are somewhat integrated with each other due to the blade pitch changing. So if you adjust the elevator, you will need to make a slight adjust to the aileron.
Following the troubleshooting diagram in order is necessary. Set the gyro, set the blade tracking, then the trims, adjust the pots, trim and then blade pitch if necessary.
If you do it out of order, you will be chasing trims all the time. If you have a landing where you hit the foam blades, although you may not damage it, the blades will be out of trim again as the foam will slightly change shape.
I do like this little machine and I think it will be a hit a my next club meeting.
