I just installed a autohub and I have my ph10 set to soft start, so it takes a little while to spool up, so I was trying out the autohub in my garage, just spooling it up on the ground and hitting throttle hold then back on again and well it still takes a while to spool up again, not that I will be doing autorotations but this would be bad if you got into trouble trying to do an auto, are any of you guys doing autos with your H2 if so I guess you have soft start disables.

No reason to disable soft start.

Auto's with micro electric helis can be tricky if you have never done them before. Its not that they are not capable. Its just that they are so light you had better be ready at the bottom of that auto.

The biggest advantage of an auto clutch on these is if you go in, you can hit the auto switch and limit the damage. That can make a significant differance in crash damage. Well, its better than standing there and watching it do the "Funcky Chicken" and ripping itsefl to pieces. Been there and done that.

Or, if for any number of reasons, your motor kicks out on you will flying, it can give you a chance to auto, or at least limt the damage. Without an auto clutch, if the motor dies, the blades will stop rather quickly, and you will simply free fall to the dirt, grass, asphalt, side of a building, or whatever.

Yes thank you, true enough, I wasn't planning on doing autos anyway, I am not even capable of any type of 3d flight yet anyway,

To me

Its important to me that it gets out there, IT WORKS! and will save a lot of pilots a lot of unnecessary trouble. No relevance you say?
You found it didn't you? or are you posting from a time capsule? If your going to reply to my post at least have some sort of point,

I thought my point was pretty obvious but perhaps not

If I had to read your same post 5 times over in 5 different places I'm sure a lot of other people did also - Mass Duplicate posting and digging up old dead threads to do so isn't well appreciated around here especially when it's done in areas that have no relevance such as the electric section that you are right now reading/posting in - In case you still don't realize - Electric helis have no IC engines and therefor no carburetors so yeah no relevance to your post -Hence their very own separate section on the forum - If you have info that you would like to pass along then do pick a single appropriate place to post it - Create a new topic if you must - But please don't mass post especially in long dead discussions that you don't really have any true interest in participating in

Oh and BTW nice covering your tracks - All those posts following yours make perfect sense now

That's very nice

Just because you made a mistake and feeling humiliated about being called on it doesn't mean you get to turn it around on me by calling this a pissing match so you can feel better - You may have caught me in a short mood but I still had every right to call your foul as this forum is structured the way it is for a reason so that's your own issue to deal with not mine - After all a little humble pie once in awhile is actually pretty good for you - I almost took a bite myself and let that one slide but it ended up eating at me instead

So I'm going to respond to your reply piece-by-piece for my own amusement at least

sorry.
Nice misleading post title - Almost had me going there for a sec

way to busy
Yes I noticed from browsing through all your posts that you indeed keep yourself quite busy going back and rewriting many of your posts depending on how the threads develop to try and make sure you never look foolish and even to appear as though you actually have a real clue about something

pi$$ing match
Hardly a pissing match up til now - One post I called your foul and another post I had to spell it out for you - But if you really wanna turn this into one I might be obliged to comment on a few other observations I've made about you - But I have to warn you that I would be quoting you warmly and accurately throughout and unlike your own posts you can't edit mine to so easily adjust the lighting you happen to stumble yourself into

business
Yeah good luck with that canopy venture you're gearing up? - But I wonder if some of my (our?) local buddies that have shown interest in that really care to find out first hand if your real world business integrity is on par with your online social integrity - Obviously you have great difficulty standing behind anything you say here - I'm always surprised to discover just how small a world it really is when participating on these forums and in all these regional+ events etc aren't you?

Oh look - Seems my short mood got a little shorter yet this post and I may have even gotten a little off our new topic in this thread - Or have I? - Tell you what though - Lucky for you that this is a pretty low traffic little nook in this forum these days unlike 'main discussion' where I could have made the call and I'm feeling better now that I've gotten some of that off my chest I might be willing join in your "busy" pastime and help you erase this whole little incident while only a handful have witnessed it and we almost forget we ever bumped into each other if your next engagement with me were to be with somewhat improved tact? I'll apologize for my moodiness in public? And you can apologize for your last post at least? (yeah if it hadn't included the phrase "pissing match" I'd likely have left it alone - but it really gave me this urge to piss you know what i mean?)
