Yes, I have a plane, too. Forgive me my sins, oh heli god!

Crash Pics

I balled up my R50 at the Wichita Fun Fly Friday evening.
Been awhile since I'd really crashed, so I was due.
Not too bad, really.
Snapped the head clean off.
But no frame damage...tough little heli.
Couldn't find the v2 headblock or landing gear...the 50 was done for the weekend.

My Raptor 50v2 vs. Profile Plane (5/13/2003)

Raptor 1 Plane 0

The plane's wing and tail were sliced by the last inch of my blade.
The Mavrikk FRP blades have a swept "scimitar" tip that is rather sharp, and it sliced 2/3rds
of the way through the balsa spar, wing and stab like butter. Both the plane and my Raptor
were safely landed, much to the credit of the airplane's pilot. The Raptor had no damage
and just a little blue transfer from the covering adhesive transfer on the tip of one blade.
Another inch of contact and both aircraft would have been smoking holes. I got lucky!

Full Scale Flight Training

I've got 35.2 total hours toward my Private Pilot Certificate (ASEL), 30 in a very little Cessna 150, and one, so far, in a much nicer Piper PA-28-161 Warrior. If you've never flown a real airplane, I HIGHLY recommend it!
This is the Piper Warrior I'm currently training in.
Another view of the Warrior

Cessna 150, the first plane I've flown.
